Lift Her Up Hockey started with a conversation. We wanted to build a community of women who encourage and support one-another on the ice. Development and mentoring on the ice is why hockey is more than just “the game”.
You are never too old to learn to play.
Our league is diverse with women who are lacing up for the first time to women who have skated for years and want to mentor new players.
Our league is known for its social and welcoming atmosphere from the changes-rooms to the ice-rink… you just have to come out and experience it!
Lift Her Up Hockey Founders Kelly and Lisa went from hockey-moms to hockey players.
We started with no experience and laced up our hockey skates for the very first time together. We learned to love the hockey so much that we wanted to create a league to help grow the game !
Our social network has grown from the friendships we have made skating together.
Our skating is still improving.
