This week, we’re passing the mic to Renee Hess from Black Girl Hockey Club as she interviews Saroya Tinker from the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) and invites both Black people and non-Black allies to listen and learn from an important conversation on racism in hockey and beyond.
Renee originally recorded this as an Instagram Live in June, but the lessons remain important because fighting for racial justice is a movement, not a moment.
We want to give a heartfelt thank you to Renee and the team at BGHC for allowing us to share this crucial conversation on the her Soul Shot Podcast and we truly hope that our listeners benefit from Renee’s action points, advice, and wisdom as much as we have.
