Come support girls in hockey and cheer on Alberta’s best Under-18 women hockey players!
Hockey Edmonton and the Edmonton Junior Oilers U18 AAA team, the current reigning provincial champions, will be hosting the Alberta Female Hockey League’s (AFHL) provincial championships March 23 – 26, 2023 at the Home of the Edmonton Junior Oilers, Bill Hunter Arena.
The AFHL’s U18 AAA Provincial Championships gather Alberta’s highest level female minor hockey players on their quest to win the national title, the Esso Cup.
If you can see it, you can be it!
The Edmonton Junior Oilers and Hockey Edmonton are looking for four (4) girls ages 10 – 13 to each represent a team during the AFHL U18 AAA Provincial Championships at Bill Hunter Arena.
In addition to performing a ceremonial puck drop at each game with the opposing team’s Game Day Girl and both Team Captains, you may be able to:
– Participate in off-ice warm-ups;
– Stand on the bench during the anthem; and
– Meet some of Alberta’s top female hockey players!
Are you:
– A girl aged 10 – 13 who loves hockey?
– Available to attend all of your team’s games March 24 – 26?
– Have a ride to and from Bill Hunter Arena each day?
– Proficient in skating?
– Respectful of team spaces and rules?
– Not afraid of being in front of a camera or a group of people?
